privacy,
in plain dress.
the short version: your closet is yours. she reads it, she remembers it, she never sells it.
this is the working text. the finalized notice ships with the app and will be lawyer-reviewed before anyone's closet is read.
i. what we collect.
only what you give us — used to send the cover, the receipts, and the occasional issue of the writing.
photos of garments you choose to scan. processed into a private catalog tied to your account.
the one daylight selfie used for color analysis. the embedding stays; the raw photo is deleted within 30 days unless you keep it.
what you accept, swap, hate, or ignore. this is the memory layer — it's what makes her better at week three than at week one.
location at city granularity (not GPS), calendar events you explicitly tag with an outfit.
ii. what we don't.
- we don't sell your data. not to brands, not to networks.
- we don't train shared models on your photos.
- we don't read your messages outside the app.
- we don't track you across other sites.
iii. who sees it.
a small number of named processors that make the app run — the cloud where the database sits, the inference services that render try-ons, the email service that delivers the cover. each has a data-processing agreement. the full list ships with the app.
iv. how long we keep it.
- account data: while you have an account, plus 90 days after deletion.
- raw selfies: 30 days, then only the derived color profile.
- closet photos: until you remove them or delete the account.
- memory and preferences: tied to the account; gone with it.
v. your rights.
export, correct, delete — all from inside the app, no email required. residents of the EU, UK, california, and other regions with formal data-protection regimes have the rights those regimes grant; those rights are honored by default for everyone.
vi. questions.
write us at [email protected]. a human answers, usually by friday.
